FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: sprinkler for dispersion of fire extinguishing liquid of a fire extinguishing unit contains the housing designed as a thick-walled barrel with a bottom part with channels and a wall fitted with channels, located in rows and inclined to the spray axis, the inclination axes of which in each row are increased with increase of distance from the bottom part of the barrel to the right angle, forming a number of horizontal channels. According to the invention the sprinkler is fitted with additional inclined channels located in at least one row above the row with horizontal channels, and the diameter of horizontal channels exceeds the diameter of inclined channels. In the bottom part of the barrel and on external sidewall in rows with inclined channels V-shaped ring flutes with the angle 90° are made. V-shaped flutes are made so that the inclined channels have an outlet to the side of V-shaped flute which is oriented at right angle to the axis of inclined channels.

EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of fire suppression due to creation of a compact dome-shaped flow of fire extinguishing liquid with dense and uniform distribution of drops in whole volume of the dome providing fire protection of big surfaces at the minimum consumption of liquid.
