SUBSTANCE: armor helmet with adjustable head fastening system includes an armor hard hat and a cap comforter with dampers and a hoop made from two symmetrically located figured tapes fastened in front with step adjustment elements fitted behind with the gear laths made for one tape at the bottom edge of its oval window, for another one - on the top, being engaged with the cogwheel of the smooth adjustment mechanism located in the housing, fastened to the helmet, the cogwheel is connected to the external adjusting flywheel by the sliding-stopping drive placed in the housing barrel, the drive is designed from a flywheel axis, located in the bottom bushing of the barrel, with fixing on the end of the axis of the stopping block, for example, by flats or spline connection, and fixing of the cogwheel with a possibility of rotation, and the bushing is flanged by the metal tube made integrated with the barrel on which with a pre-load the torsion spring with short tentacles which are radially unbent outside is put on, and the cogwheel is fitted with a flange with symmetric wings, and the stopping block is fitted with the similar acting wings, and all wings are located in a ring cavity between the barrel wall and the spring with gaps between flat radial sides of wings, in these gaps the spring short tentacles are placed, and the sections of extreme rounds of the spring in front bendings are located under cogwheel wings, and the wings are embedded into the barrel on the sliding seat and with a gap with erefercne to the external surface of the spring, and besides, the short tentacle located at the free end of wings is bend to an opposite end face of the spring.

EFFECT: development of an armor helmet with higher working reliability.
