FIELD: medicine; cardiovascular surgery.

SUBSTANCE: sternotomy is performed. The heart-lung machine is connected. Gortex vascular prosthesis 6–8 mm long is sutured to the coronary sinus forming an anastomosis with a 5/0 prolene suture. Then the prosthesis is passed through the ear of the right atrium. A purse-string suture is applied from the outside in the area where the prosthesis exits the ear. A transverse aortotomy is performed above the coronary sinuses. The left coronary artery is excised on the site and sutured into the pulmonary artery. The right coronary artery is excised on the site and sutured into the right atrium. The ascending aorta is restored by sewing patches into the places of coronary pads made of polytetrafluoroethylene and the proximal and distal ends of the aorta are anastomosed. Then the proximal anastomosis of the aorta and prosthesis is formed.

EFFECT: method allows to restore blood supply to the myocardium by performing coronary arteriovenous switching, which will ensure full retrograde blood flow through the coronary veins in the myocardium.
