FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical physics and can be used to study flow meters of saturated and wet steams. The method is suggested to determine actual volume steam content and phases velocities of wet gas flows in the steam line downstream the assembly for overheated steam and water mixing, including change of the flowrate, static pressure and temperature of the overheated steam flow entering the mixing assembly, measurements of the flow, static pressure and temperature of water flow entering the mixing assembly, measurement of the static pressure and temperature in the steam line downstream the assembly for overheated steam and water mixing. Method also includes measurement of the dynamic vacuum in the steam line downstream the assembly for overheated steam and water mixing, change of the flow mode of the wet steam as per parameters of the heat and/or weight flowrate upon keeping the static pressure, or passive waiting of the moment of such event, or selection from the controller memory of the wet steam flow parameters of the previous time with required static pressure, heat and weight flowrates, determination under the selected mode of all parameters measured under the initial mode, calculation as per all measurements.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and validity of obtained data.
