DEVICE FOR DETERMINING MASS FLOW RATE AND DEGREE OF DRYNESS OF WET STEAM Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC G01F1/34 G01N25/60

Abstract RU 2839678 C1

FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents a device for determining mass flow rate and degree of dryness of wet steam, which provides higher accuracy of determining its parameters. Device comprises: steam line; perpendicular to the steam line axis the cylindrical housing of the probe, with three pressure channels: pressure channel on the side of flow movement, static pressure channel, pressure channel towards flow movement; differential pressure meter between the outlets from the pressure channel on the side of flow movement and the static pressure channel – dynamic head meter; static pressure meter at the outlet of the static pressure channel; differential pressure meter between the outlets of the static pressure channel and the pressure channel in the direction of flow movement – dynamic rarefaction meter; two Pitot tubes: one with pressure receiver on the side of flow movement; the other is with a pressure receiver in the direction of flow movement; controller for calculating mass flow rate and degree of dryness of wet steam, in order to increase accuracy of determining steam parameters, comprises: a disk parallel to the steam line axis, with three through holes between its surfaces, the diameter of which does not exceed the diameter of the cylindrical probe body; three tubes connecting the inlets of the pressure channels at the end of the housing of the cylindrical probe in the steam line with three holes of the disc; a Pitot tube, with a pressure receiver on the side of flow movement, installed on the plane of the disc and connected through its opening and a tube between the disc and the cylindrical housing of the probe to its inlet into the pressure channel on the side of flow movement; another Pitot tube, with a pressure receiver in the direction of flow movement, installed on the plane of the disc and connected through its other hole and another tube between the disc and the cylindrical housing of the probe to its inlet into the pressure channel in the direction of flow movement; the third hole of the disc is a static pressure receiver connected to the static pressure channel of the cylindrical housing of the probe by a third tube between the disc and the cylindrical housing of the probe.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining mass flow rate and degree of dryness (mass flow rate steam content) of wet steam.
