SUBSTANCE: method of controlling the granulation process of phosphorus-containing fertilisers comprises the step of separating the granular charge on screens to fine, commodity and coarse fraction with grinding of the coarse fraction and return of the fine fraction and the ground coarse fraction in the process as recycle. The charge that enters for separation is divided into two streams, the ratio of which is determined by obtaining a predetermined amount of the commodity fraction, and the first stream is divided along the boundaries of the size range of the commodity fraction and the predetermined amount of the commodity fraction is removed from the process from the first stream, and the second stream is divided only by the upper boundary of the commodity fraction while maintaining the specific load on the screens through which the second stream is passed, so as to maintain the stable equivalent diameter of the granules of the charge.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain stable quality of the finished product, to simplify the process of separation of the charge.
