SUBSTANCE: at switched on condition of disconnect busbar switches, at sections connected to sectionalising switch, occurrence of equalising current is controlled, and if it appears at the above sections simultaneously, then conclusion is made about false activation of bus sectionalising switch at the double-transformer substation at operation of ring network as per normal power supply scheme. The suggested method allows receiving data on false tripping by bus sectionalising switch of double-transformer substation at operation of ring network as per normal power supply scheme.

EFFECT: reduction of energy consumption by exclusion of sounding method, by control of equalising current at sections of busbars adjoining the sectionalising switch.
