FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, to devices intended for compensation of capacitive ground fault currents in electric networks of 6-35 kV. Arc-suppression unit comprises neutral generating transformer and reactor in the same body. Magnet core of arc-suppression unit is based on four rods. At three dimensional rods placed at angle of 120° relative to each other there are working windings of neutral generating transformer connected as per zigzag scheme. At the fourth rod of magnet core having air gaps and installed in the centre of three-phase magnet system there is working winding, which outputs are connected to neutral of three-phase transformer and earthing bar.
EFFECT: reduced active losses of electric energy, specific consumption of materials and dimensions, improved operational reliability and simplified maintenance.
