SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the collection of vector component data. A device for the collection of vector component data contains a spherical support mounted on a base node and a tool platform with at least one vector component sensor attached to it. The tool platform is mounted on the spherical support and supported by it. The spherical support connects the tool platform to the base node and allows for free angular rotation of the tool platform within the range of an inclination angle. The tool platform has a mass center located under a rotation center.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of collection of geophysical vector component data.
