FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming equipment, particularly, to flanging presses. Flanging press body comprises plates (1), lower bar (2) and upper bar (3) composed of separate plate and rod. Said separate parts include elements under tension to take up expanding forces, press elements to take up pressure forces and transfer elements. The latter are arranged between elements under tension and press elements to transmit forces there between. Said elements under tension to take up expanding forces, press elements to take up pressure forces and transfer elements are coupled by mechanical couplers.
EFFECT: ruled out welding jobs, decreased weight and overall dimensions, ease of production and transportation.
