FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic press is made up as a frame whose members are stands and crosspieces that are interconnected and locked by the use of fastening means well as means. Between the stands is a traverse with rods whose ends are set in guides for movement of the traverse with respect to the bearing plane of the cross- piece. The guides are made up as additional members of the frame, in particular, beams with openings interposed between the end faces of the stands and cross-pieces.
