METHOD FOR FORMING LOOP-ENDED PANCREATOJEJUNOANASTOMOSIS IN PROXIMAL PANCREATECTOMY Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A61B17/11

Abstract RU 2552670 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves a proximal pancreatectomy and a stump mobilisation. jejunum is displaced retrocolically to the pancreatic stump for creating a fistula. A free end of the jejunum is folded as a double tube 6-8 cm long. A long incision approximately 3 cm long is made on an antimesenteric edge of the double tube so as to insert branches of a linear stapler through the created hole into both joints of the intestinal double tube. A jejuneal vessel is formed. A first line of the interrupted sutures is applied at 1.0-1.5 cm in the distal direction from the pancreatectomy edge between the pancreas and a posterior wall of the intestinal vessel. That is followed by applying a continuous suture between an intestinal lumen and a perimeter of the pancreatic section. A second line of the interrupted sutures is applied between the pancreas and an anterior wall of the intestinal vessel at 1.0-1.5 cm from the internal line of the sutures.

EFFECT: method provides applying the pancreatojejunal fistula at any diameter of a pancreatic duct and mismatch of the pancreatic and jejuneal section and by the longitudinal incision of the wall of the jejuneal vessel.
