FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: method according to invention permits to correct current gas flow pressure measurement delivered in flight by sensor installed in engine. Method includes the following actions: assessment (E50) of zero offset error affecting the sensor based on difference between: gas flow pressure calibration measurement delivered by sensor installed in engine and atmospheric pressure measurement delivered by aircraft sensor having measurement accuracy exceeding accuracy of sensor installed in engine; these measurements are performed when sensor installed in engine and aircraft sensor are both exposed to the same ambient atmospheric pressure; and subtraction of zero offset error from current measurement.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement of gas flow circulating in aircraft engine.
