FIELD: physics; control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of evaluating and monitoring the state of motor and rail transport infrastructure. The method comprises determining uniformity of geotechnical elements, followed by selecting a sliding surface and calculating a stability factor; conducting investigation, which includes topographical and soil survey; obtaining geometric and physical parameters which define the state of the transport infrastructure object, based on which a computer model of the infrastructure object is created. The computer model enables to calculate the relationship between dynamic vibration values and the load generated by vehicles. The obtained relationships are compared with a measured dynamic vibration value, based on which the load currently acting on the transport infrastructure object is determined. The stability coefficient of the transport infrastructure object at a given speed of the vehicle is then determined based on the determined geometric and physical parameters and the load.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining the stability factor a transport infrastructure object.
