FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of monitoring breach of integrity of bank-protecting structures, in particular wave breaking walls, consisting of at least one or several massive blocks, in particular, reinforced concrete, as well as block foundations of engineering structures using fibre-optic test and measurement equipment and is intended for timely detection of deformation of structures and prevention of their complete destruction. Method consists in monitoring condition of bank-protecting structure using sensor of critical deformation registration due to its simplified design, allowing to place several sensors on docking units of engineering structure with various preset values of critical displacement, thus providing the possibility of increasing detail of information on approach of structure to pre-crash state. Device contains a server computer with connected to it automated workplaces, sensors of registration of critical deformation, located in points of diagnostics of a structure, a control unit connected with them by centres of information processing, and means of communication with the specified computer.
EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of bank protection structure destruction due to response efficiency due to visualization of obtained information in a more visible and operator-accessible form.
