FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of railway track, namely to methods of increasing transverse stability of rail-and-sleeper grid on ballast base. Method of increasing stability includes ballast material tempering by polyurethane system. Application of binding material at flow rate of 3.5 kg per running meter of railway track makes it possible to form geocomposite with width of 0.7 m and cross-section area of 0.11 m2.
EFFECT: higher crosswise stability of rail-and-sleeper grid on ballast base.
