SUBSTANCE: method of production of the cultural liquid containing xanthan provides cultivation of culture of bacteria Xanthomonas campestris of the strain VKPM V-2228 in the nutrient medium containing a carbon source which is a pre-hydrolyzed low-grade wood, nitrogen sources, organic acid, and also mineral salts. Note that cultivation is performed in conditions of aeration.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase xanthan content in a cultural liquid.
