FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. The method to control a wedged nozzle block installed between the first and second turbines connected in series with a compressor. The method includes detection of whether the nozzle block is jammed; supply of a command to the first turbine to increase minimum reference value of speed, if the nozzle block is wedged; inspection of whether the nozzle block remains jammed; supply of a command to the compressor to increase flow of heat bled to the inlet from the current value to the maximum value, if the nozzle block is jammed; inspection of whether the nozzle block remains jammed; and supply of a command to the compressor to increase the angle of the inlet guide vanes from the current value to the maximum value, if the nozzle block is jammed. Also a system is presented to clear jamming of nozzles and a machine readable carrier comprising commands performed by a computer, which during their realisation implement the method according to the invention.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to clear jamming of a nozzle mechanism.
