FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to highly molecular linear polybutadienes with a high content of cis-1,4-units. Claimed is a highly molecular linear neodymium-catalysed polybutadiene with a high part of cis-1,4-units, exceeding 95%, and a small part of 1,2-vinyl units (lower than 1%), as well as a low index of the molar mass distribution, which has the Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 100°C) of 70-90 and the index of the molar mass distribution lower than 10, corresponding to the ratio of Mw(90%) by Mw(10%) division, with the molar mass distribution being characterised by indices Mw(90%)<1000000 g/mol and Mw(10%)>100000 g/mol. A method of obtaining the claimed polybutadienes, rubber mixtures, containing the claimed polybutadienes, and versions of their application are also claimed.
EFFECT: claimed polybutadiene possesses improved exploitation characteristics (gel-formation, elasticity, resilience, etc), making it possible to obtain high-quality tyres and golf balls.
