FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: feeder comprises a hopper with a platform mounted on the frame. The hopper is divided obliquely by the mounted plate with a window in its lower part into two compartments: for storing feed and for feeding poultry. The compartments are arranged one above the other. In the lower compartment there is an opening for access to the feed of poultry. The opening comprises transparent shutters. One shutter is rigidly attached to the platform, the second is hingedly attached to the wall of the hopper and is connected to the platform by the rod system. The platform is secured to the shaft or under it and is made with the ability to change the angle of inclination. The shaft passes through the hopper window and is equipped with the feed agitators.
EFFECT: decrease in feed consumption and increase in productivity of poultry, reduction of likelihood of infecting of poultry by wild birds.
