FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: feeder for fabrication of containers like can bodies comprises three or more feed drums (22, 30). Feed drums receive cab bodies at linear pitch to convert said pitch into circular pitch. Several drums are used to displace the can to processing machine at required liner pitch and definite speed. Transmission ratio between separate drums varies and does not exceed 2:1.
EFFECT: variation of container feed pitch by drum diameter variation and/or the number of drum seats and/or drum rpm.
