FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: pyro actuator consists of casing, gas generator with throttling orifice, piston ejected along with the plug, collapsible retainer ejected along with piston plug and push piston. Part of piston ejected with plug is fitted inside the main push piston while their centring surfaces are connected with minimum clearance. Extra push piston is fitted inside main push piston to thrust by its end against that of piston ejected with the plug. Said main push piston has expanding spring ring while pyro actuator body has the grooved for said expanding spring ring.
EFFECT: higher reliability, reliable locking of push piston after operation of actuator.
