FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device is designed to determine position of a hydraulic cylinder or a pneumatic cylinder piston. A retaining element for a sensor, which retains the position sensor, and a fastening element, which fixes the retaining element on the body of the cylinder, are made in the form of separate elements. The retaining element for the sensor is located so that a slot for sensor fixation is aligned in direction of the axis of cylinder body and touches with the external surface of the cylinder body. The fastening element is placed so that it covers at both sides the retaining element for the sensor. By means of tightening of a fastening screw and fixation of the fastening element with the help of a fastening tape, the retaining element is pressed and fixed on the outer surface of the cylinder body with the fastening element. Weakening of the fastening screw makes it possible for the retaining element to move relative to the fastening element in direction of the cylinder body axis.

EFFECT: increased reliability of fixation.
