FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel contains carbon, manganese, silicon, chrome, copper, nickel, vanadium, iron and unavoidable mixtures with the following content of components, wt %: carbon 0.37-0.41, manganese 1.00-1.30, silicon 0.40-0.70, copper 0.10-0.30, nickel 0.05-0.30, chrome 0.05-0.30, vanadium 0.04-0.08, iron and unavoidable admixtures - balance. Necessary mechanical properties of pipes after hot deformation are provided, namely: breaking strength of at least 700 N/mm2, yield point of at least 500 N/mm2, relative elongation of at least 17% and impact viscosity KCU+20°C with at least 100 J/mm2.
