FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. Method of controlling process of potassium chloride obtaining by changing input water flow includes regulation of water expenditure in solution supplied for crystallisation depending on its consumption, content of potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, crystalline sodium chloride in it and temperature. Calculation of degree of solution saturation by potassium chloride, coefficients of saturated solution concentration by sodium chloride are carried out with obtaining potassium chloride crystallisate with content of KCl 96.5-98.5% counted per dry product. Additionally measured are: consumption of filtered crystallisate, content of potassium chloride and moisture in it, ratio of liquid to solid in interval 0.6-1.5 in suspension of sodium chloride in saturated solution of potassium chloride and sodium chloride, supplied to correct composition of target product into thickened suspension of potassium chloride crystallisate after vacuum-crystallisation before its filtration. Obtained data are used to determine consumption of sodium chloride suspension. Measured and calculated values of technological parameters are sent to system controlling consumption of water and sodium chloride suspension.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain target product with lower boundary of KCl content in it according to requirements of regulatory documents.
