FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of hydromechanical transmission configuring. Hydromechanical transmission contains the hydraulic pump driven by a hydromotor, and the pressure-controlled hydraulic booster utilizing a partial characteristic curve torque/pressure. The resultant four-dimensional interrelation of pressure of the hydraulic booster, rpm of the motor, rpm of the primary power source and the motor torque allows to select the hydraulic booster pressure for providing a necessary torque.
EFFECT: reliability improvement.
