FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: operating method of a thermal power plant involves use of thermal engine (5) with a closed circulation circuit. Thermal engine (5) operates as per a Rankine organic cycle, and a low-boiling working medium that circulates in the closed circuit is used as a cooling liquid. The working medium is expanded in turbine expander (6) of thermal engine (5), condensed in heat exchanger - condenser (8) of thermal engine (5) and compressed in condensate pump (9) of engine (5). Waste steam is supplied from steam turbine (1) to steam space of condenser (2), and steam of production extractions from the steam turbine and by production extraction of steam to condenser (13). Steam is condensed on surfaces of the corresponding condenser tubes, and condensates are supplied by means of condensate pumps (3, 14) of steam turbine (1) and steam turbine (11) with production extraction of steam to their regeneration system. At condensation of steam of production extractions utilisation of high-potential heat energy by means of the cooling liquid of thermal engine is performed (5). Thermal engine (5) is used at condensation of waste turbine (1) steam and utilisation of discharge low-potential heat energy of waste steam of turbine (1) is performed. After compression in condensate pump (9) of thermal engine (5) the low-boiling medium, at supercritical pressure, is heated in condenser (2) of steam turbine (1) to critical temperature by using hidden heat of steam generation. In condenser (13) of steam turbine (11) with production extraction of steam, the low-boiling working medium is evaporated and overheated to supercritical temperature by using hidden heat of steam generation. Expansion of the working medium in turbine expander (6) is performed to saturation temperature with humidity of not more than 12%.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of a thermal power plant due to complete use of discharge low-potential heat for additional generation of electrical power, increasing service life and improving reliability of a condenser of a steam turbine and reducing emissions to atmosphere.
