FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by means of comparative spectral analysis of levels of accelerations of a selected pair of skis with their simultaneous excitation by short-term pressing onto a board put across shoes of the tested pair of skis. The comparative spectral analysis of acceleration levels is carried out with the help of a two-channel spectrum analyser, to inlets of which acceleration sensors are connected, installed separately on shoes of skis, and to outlets - voltmeters as indicators of acceleration levels expressed in voltage units. To define offset of acceleration transfer coefficient along both channels on each pass band the acceleration sensors are first installed onto a shoe of one ski, and by ratio of voltmeter readings they determine the required value. The degree of identity of elastic properties of the pair of skis is assessed by the maximum close match of acceleration levels on measured pass bands with account of their offset.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of ski pairs selection by their elastic properties.
