The method for selecting sports equipment taking into account the rheological characteristics of a snow track provides for measuring the rheological characteristics of a snow track, measuring the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the “sports equipment - snow track” system, processing the data obtained, determining the vibration power density of the “sports equipment - snow track” system, subsequent selection of the optimal variant of sports equipment, while measuring amplitude-frequency characteristics of the system “sports equipment - snow track”, in the registered vibration signal, vibrations normal to the sliding surface of the sports equipment are filtered out and tangential vibrations associated with frictional self-oscillations are left and then the power density of tangential accelerations is determined, and for a visco-elastic snow track, optimal equipment with the lowest power density of tangential accelerations of the “sports equipment- snow track” system is selected, and for a visco-plastic snow track, the optimal equipment with the highest power density of tangential accelerations of the “sports equipment” system is selected, while for a snow track combining elastic-visco-plastic characteristics, the tangential acceleration power densities are determined first on the viscous and elastic sections of the tangential acceleration power density characteristics for each pair, and then the optimal equipment is selected with a minimum difference in the tangential acceleration power density of the pair, in the viscous and elastic sections of the tangential acceleration power density characteristics.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the selection of sports equipment and expansion of the arsenal of technical means.
