SUBSTANCE: invention refers to footwear (1), especially athletic footwear having an upper portion (2) and an outsole (3) attached to the upper portion (2); the outsole (3) has a long axis (L) and has an anterior foot (4), a middle foot (5) and a heel (6). The outsole (3) has at least one first pivot (7) arranged between the anterior foot (4) and the middle foot (5), which enables bend the anterior foot (4) in relation to the middle foot (5) about a first horizontal axis (T1) perpendicular to the long axis (L), and the outsole (3) has at least one second pivot (8) arranged in the middle portion (5) and enabling bending two adjoining portions (5a, 5b) of the middle foot (5) about the second horizontal axis (T2) perpendicular to the long axis (L); on or in the outsole (3) there is at least one flexible tension unit (9), which displaces the anterior foot (4) so that it turns about the first horizontal axis (T1) upwards in relation to the middle foot (5), when the footwear stands on the ground (10), and which displaces the two portions (5a, 5b) of the middle foot (5) so that they turn about the second horizontal axis (T2) to form an arch, when the footwear stands on the ground (10).

EFFECT: supporting foot more naturally, especially when running.
