SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a waterproof breathing footwear article comprising the combined top unit (8) having an upper part including a breathing exterior material and a lower part including a waterproof breathing functional layer structure passing across the said upper part and the said lower part, a sole ventilation element having a structure or material allowing air flow passage through it; the said sole ventilation element is connected to the said combined top unit (8); there is at least one side channel (50) passing from the said structure or material through the side wall of the said sole ventilation element ensuring air communication between the said structure or material of the said sole ventilation element and the outside of the said sole ventilation element.
EFFECT: ensuring waterproof protection of the whole foot combined with high air permeability of the footwear.
