FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine (GTE) overhaul method comprises the creation of rotation and resupplied reserve of recovered parts - modules, assemblies, assembly units remained after replacement from earlier repaired engines, which are used for replacement in an engine to be repaired. The overhauled engine is tested according to a multi-cycle program. When performing the test stages the modes are alternated which by duration exceed the programmed time of flight. When performing the test steps, alteration of the modes, which exceed as to duration the programmed flight time, is performed. The batch overhaul method, and also the gas turbine engine repaired according to the present method are also presented.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce labour costs, power consumption and duration of overhaul, improve GTE operational quality and veracity of experimentally tested resource and reliability of the engine.
