FIELD: nuclear industry for medicine. SUBSTANCE: molybdenum-99 is obtained by using it in fissionable uranyl sulfate fuel of homogeneous solution reactors followed by its separation from fuel by means of high-molecular sorbent having Mo-99 selectivity higher than 90%. Used as sorbent is copolymer of maleic anhydride with α-benzoinoxime grafted to its macromolecules. EFFECT: improved economic efficiency; wasteless technology.
