FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: in the method of smooth start of array of motors exercise the protective switch is controlled by the protection device, it controls the supply voltage fed by a feeding substation to the protective switch of a motor. In case of power outage at the feeding substation and outage of supply voltage on protective switches of array motors the protective switches of all motors are tripped by the protection device. At re-energizing from the feeding substation and at occurrence of supply voltage on protective switches of the array motors the protective switches are enabled by means of the protection device with the delay pre-set according to the formula indicated in the offer materials.

EFFECT: reduction of starting current of array of large number of motors.
