SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to seals. Split mechanical end sealing assembly contains assembled split gland plate, assembled split connecting O-ring, assembled split main O-ring, and split pressing assembly. The segment connecting O-ring is supported in the axial and radial directions on the segment adapter of the connecting O-ring by means of the resilient connecting straps using pre-assembled sub-assemblies, and using resilient connecting straps the connecting O-ring is elastically supported in axial direction inside the assembled specified adapter of the connecting O-ring. Movable in axial direction the assembled main O-ring contains the segment main O-ring. The pressing assembly is pre-assembled in the assembled gland plate and presses the main O-ring ensuring sealing to the connecting O-ring.

EFFECT: improved seal.
