SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the outer crushing armor of cone crusher and to cone crusher with the above armor, which can be used in the mining industry. Armor, installed in the area of the upper pot of the cone crusher, contains installation and crushing surface, wall, defined and continuing radially between the installation and crushing surfaces. In this case, the wall has first upper axial and second lower axial end. Armor also comprises an elevated first and second contact areas. First area is arranged axially in the direction of the first upper axial end, has a radially outwardly raised elevated first contact surface for positioning the oppositely facing radially inwardly facing surface of the upper pot or intermediate spacer ring, and the second region is located axially in the direction of the second lower axial end and extends radially outwardly on the mounting surface in the direction about the axis. Recess or groove is formed from the side of the wall mounting surface in the position of the raised first contact area or axially between the first upper axial end and the raised first contact area. Recess or groove is provided on bearing surface for the installation of sealing ring. Radial length of the support surface is less than the radial wall thickness in the area between the first upper axial end and the raised first contact area.

EFFECT: armor is characterized by improved gasketing with the crusher pot, which prevents the release of harmful particles and fine sand.
