FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: device for manufacture of filled sachets with pre-set length contains a cloth source, a set for cloth conversion into infinite tube with overlapping edge sections of cloth forming a longitudinal seam, a cutting device for cutting of tube into pieces and a row of transmission drums consisting from cutting, selecting and levelling drums along a the row of transmission drums. The device also contains the transmission section for transmission of tubes from the cutting device to the accepting part of the row of transmission reels, the first closing mechanism for closing of one end of each tube by crimping, the filling section for placement of pre-set amount of material into each of sachets, the second closing mechanism for closing by crimping of the open end of each of filled sachets and the sensor and the controller designed with a possibility of maintaining of coordinated operation of the filling section. The transmission gear and the row of transmission drums keep constant position of the longitudinal seam of sachets. The method of manufacture of sachets containing granulated, powdery or solid content includes the formation of infinite paper tube from the rolled base with opposite edge sites sealed together with formation of the longitudinal seam, cutting of the tube into pieces of multi-element length, and then cutting of these pieces into separate tubes with the length per sachet, closing of one end of each tube with crimping and filling with content. Then the open end of the tube is closed by crimping. The orientation of the crimped end and the longitudinal seam is maintained during the complete process of formation of a sachet so that the crimped ends of completely formed sachet are parallel to each other, and the longitudinal seam is continued between the ends, being located in the middle between opposite lateral side of the sachet.
