FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid filter designed to soften and purify tap water and other domestic fluids. Proposed device comprises inlet and outlet, softening agent vessel and regenerating solution vessel and control mechanism. The latter comprises the case composed of at least three parts that make chambers and fluid transfer cavities. At least two pistons are arranged in chambers and engaged via cam mechanism with the engine, salt valve and drain valve. Note here that control mechanism can simultaneously displace the pistons in chambers and shut off the fluid transfer cavities. At least two fluid transfer cavities are composed between said parts of the case. At least one cavity is composed between the case part nearby the softening vessel top part and softening agent vessel topmost part.
EFFECT: higher reliability, simplified design, decreased weight.
