FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of polyhedral borohydride compounds and polyethylene imine. Method of obtaining polyethyleneimine dodecahydro-closo-dodecarbonate of composition C2H4NH×0.4H2B12H12 includes interaction of water solutions of polyethylene imine (PEI) and dodecahydro-closo-dodecaboric acid (H2B12H12), taken in molar ratio 1 to (0.5-0.6), with further separation of target product.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain novel chemical compound of polyethyleneimine dodecahydro-closo-dodecarbonate of composition C2H4NH×0,4H2B12H12 with high content of borohydride component, which can be applied as energy-intensive components of pyrotechnical compositions.
