METHOD OF CONNECTION OF FITTING AND PIPE MADE OUT OF POLYMER MATERIALS AND CONNECTION ASSEMBLY Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC F16L19/00 

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: assembly of connection of fitting and pipe contains polymer union of the fitting, polymer plastic pipe femaling the said union, and polymer shrinkable sleeve femaling the end of the said pipe at the place of the connection with union. At that the pipe is installed on the fitting union by means of its expansion together with the shrinkable sleeve ensuring further shrinkage of the sleeve material, and union is made with three ring shoulders: first of them is located at end of the union, third shoulder is in contact with end face of the end pipe, and second is between the first and third shoulders. Said shoulders have cylindrical face surface. The fitting union has two zones limited by the said shoulders: in the first zone between the first and second shoulders the union has cone shape tapering towards its end, and in second zone located between second and third shoulder has cone shape expanding in this direction. The shrinkable sleeve at one end has two internal shoulders, the first shoulder over the end face is in contact with end face of the pipe end, and the second shoulder with large height in comparison with the first shoulder, over the end face is in contact with the end face of the third shoulder of the union.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the connection of the fitting with pipe.
