FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: pipe connecting kit includes a fitting with a nozzle, a sleeve, and a nut having an inner collar facing to the side from the fitting. The sleeve has a collar facing to the fitting side; at that, inner diameter of the nut collar is smaller than that of the sleeve collar. According to the proposed method, the sleeve is installed on the pipe, the pipe end is expanded, the fitting nozzle is inserted into the pipe end, the sleeve is moved along the pipe in the fitting direction, the sleeve is installed on the pipe with tension at the point of its connection to the nozzle by screwing the nut on the fitting threaded section till the stop. The tool serves to simplify and expedite the connection installation.
EFFECT: easy installation of the connection without a complex specialised tool, and high reliability and tightness.
