FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in wind power generators with vertical axis of rotation. The invention is aimed at improvement of efficiency due to design simplification. The essence of the invention is achieved by that the vertical rotor which comprises a vertical shaft with active blades, according to the invention has the blades which are implemented in the form of the upper and lower groups of passive elements, and the lower group of passive elements is installed on the ends of the angular frame facing with an angle downwards and hingedly installed in the lower part of the vertical shaft, and the top group is installed on the ends of the angular frame facing with an angle upwards and hingedly installed on the vertical shaft, while the passive elements are fitted with wings, and angular frames are connected with the vertical shaft by the elastic elements.
EFFECT: technical and economic advantage of this rotor is its high performance, namely the increased working moment and the decreased counteracting moment which decreases both due to decrease of arm, and due to shading effect.
