FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind-power engineering, in particular to windmills. The proposed windmill comprises a vertical shaft, tower and concave blades. Said blades are fitted on swivel joints hinged to tie rods pivoted on the shaft to form parallelograms. Said swivel joints are furnished with aerodynamic inclined surfaces. Note that the lower tie rods are additionally linked up with the shaft via pivoted spring-damping elements.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, lower costs, simpler design.
