SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a clamping ring. A clamping ring is a metal tape having a projecting lug near the first end and a hook near the second end, the hook comprises a front wall able of holding near the rear lug wall when the hook is hooked on the lug, to hold the ring in a tightened position, the top view shows that the rear lug wall includes a V-shape configuration with an end turned from the hook, and the front hook wall includes hooking sides set at the angle to the transverse direction of the tape in order to match the inclination angle of the V-shaped configuration sections.

EFFECT: invention provides for centring of the hook and the lug in respect to each other.
