FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compounds used in forensics to evaluate the destructive properties of high-speed projectiles of firearms. The human muscle tissue mimicking compound contains petroleum and/or synthetic oil, a thickener selected from a group of polyurethanes, polymers and/or copolymers of ethylene, propylene, butadiene, as well as petrolatum and/or ceresin and/or paraffin and ionol as an antioxidant in amount of not more than 1 wt %.
EFFECT: invention provides stable rheological and mechanical properties of the compound and enables to preserve traces of the bore when trapping a high-speed projectile.
