FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the areas of forensic examination and nanostructures, namely, the recovery of invisible or weakly visible fingerprints, left on different tracing surfaces on the basis of ultra-disperse nanomaterial, when carrying out identification of a person. Proposed method for producing a non-magnetic fingerprinting powder based on an ultra-disperse nanomaterial for the recovery of latent fingerprints involves mechanically mixing pre-shredded and screened components, wherein copper (II) oxide, carbon black, talc and carbon nanotubes are used as the mixture components in the following ratio, mass%: copper (II) oxide 30–70, soot 25–40, talcum 1–20, carbon nanotubes 1–15 from the mass of non-magnetic fingerprinting powder.
EFFECT: method is proposed for recovery of latent fingerprints.
