A computer system includes case configured for installation in a rack and including one or more air scoops in the case front and one or more air outlet holes in the case rear, one or more hard drives connected to the case, and one or more air ducts under at least one hard drive, at least one of several air scoops of one of several air ducts interfaces one or more air scoop of the case via fluid medium, and at least one of air outlet holes of one or more air ducts interfaces at least one of air outlet holes in the case via fluid medium, and at least one air scoop of one air duct is configured to guide at least some air down to at least one air duct where at least one air duct is configured to transfer air from at least one air scoop of one air duct to at least one air outlet hole of one air duct and where at least one of one or more air ducts is positioned at least partially downstream of one or more printed circuit card units in the case so that at least some air flows in the computer system through at least one heat-emitting element at one or several printed circuit card units in the case and further to at least one air duct under hard drives.

EFFECT: computer system with efficient cooling where free hot installation/uninstallation of equipment is possible.
