SUBSTANCE: roller ridge former comprises a frame, an axis and spherical discs freely mounted, with the rings located between them. The frame of the roller is made assembled with the possibility of changing the mounting angle of the side beams along with the spherical discs in the direction of movement and fixation in a predetermined position. The spherical discs are mounted on the semi-axes with the ability of their movement in vertical plane and fixing in a predetermined position. The rings are mounted on an axis with the ability of changing their position along with the axis in a horizontal plane and fixing in the desired position. The rings are mounted at an equal distance from each other, made elliptical and mounted on spokes at an equal distance from the spherical discs, at that the major axis of symmetry of each subsequent ellipsoidal ring is shifted relative to the corresponding axis of symmetry of the preceding ring on the same angle and in the same direction. The spokes of the adjacent elliptical rings are connected with the planks, at that the number of the rings is odd, and the middle ring is located on the axis of symmetry of the roller.

EFFECT: improvement of quality of the ridge formed.
