The tapered bristle has a longitudinal axis, and the cross-sectional profile is a rhomb with a major and a minor axis. The device comprises a plurality of tapered bristles located in a bundle which extends from the front surface of the head. The plurality of tapered bristles in the bundle comprises a first and a second bristles from the tapered bristles, and the major axis of the first bristle of the tapered bristles is not parallel to the major axis of the second bristle from the tapered bristles.
