SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an oral care device. Oral care device comprises a handle, a head connected to the handle, and at least one tuft of bristles. Bristle is made of monofilament and contains the main part, the end part and coextruded first and second components. End part extends from the main part and has a cross-section with several protruding parts, with the monofilament bristle running along the longitudinal axis. First component of the coextruded first and second components has a first color and forms the first protruding part of the cross section with several protruding parts, second component has a second color, different from the first color, and forms a second protruding part of the cross section with several protruding parts. Each of the first and second components forms a longitudinal profile of the main part, with the boundary between the first and second components extending essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis, and where the end portion comprises a first tip extending in the longitudinal direction from the first protruding part, and a second tip extending in the longitudinal direction from the second protruding part.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the efficiency of indicating wear of bristles.
